Isabelle Thomas is a percussionist, pianist, and music educator based in the Northern NJ/NYC area. She is in her fourth and final year at William Paterson University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with a focus in Classical Percussion. Isabelle has been a private piano and classical percussion teacher since 2020 and always welcomes new students! As an educator, Isabelle encourages creativity and curiosity. She likes to combine classical and modern music/techniques in her lessons. Isabelle is the Music Director for the summer youth show at the Wayne, NJ YMCA’s production of Into the Woods Jr. Isabelle has a passion for education, Music Theory, and is an active performer. She gravitates towards solo marimba, pit orchestras, and chamber ensemble playing. Recent shows she has played are William Paterson University’s productions of Le Nozze di Figaro, Orpheus in the Underworld, Monkey and Francine in the City of Tigers, and Rutter’s Requiem with New Jersey Choral Society. She is a dynamic artist who is always open to any musical opportunity.
